Lakewood woman arrested in pot growing probe

MAYVILLE – A 47-year-old Lakewood woman has been arrested as a result of a continuing criminal investigation of marijuana production in the southern portions of Chautauqua County.

As a result of an already ten-month-old investigation Tiffany D. Boardman of Southland Avenue, Lakewood, was arrested in that village about 7 p.m. Tuesday by Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies and Lakewood-Busti police officers on charges of criminal possession of marijuana in the second-degree and unlawful growing of marijuana. The charges stem from continuing investigative work being carried out by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. Officials, refusing to go into detail, said additional arrests may be made as a result on the ongoing probe.
