Paulette V. Cesana, a retired supervisory inspector with U.S. Customs, died Feb. 20 in Tonawanda. She was 63.
Born in Buffalo, Ms. Cesana was a graduate of Kensington High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in classical languages and literature from the University at Buffalo.
She worked for 32 years with the U.S. Customs and was promoted to supervisory customs inspector in 1982. Ms. Cesana was a member of the Contraband Enforcement Team, a specialized unit in the Port of Buffalo, and was also a member of the Treasury Pistol Traveling Team. She retired in 2005.
She was a member of the Hellenic Orthodox Church.
Ms. Cesana was an avid reader and enjoyed blues, jazz and popular music.
A Trisagion Service will be held at 7 p.m. today at Lombardo Funeral Home, 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst. A second service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, 146 West Utica St. at Delaware Avenue.
