Business People: Tish Brady appointed COO of Catholic Charities of Buffalo

Catholic Charities of Buffalo appointed Tish Brady chief operating officer. Brady was metropolitan district service director at the agency. She has a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree, both from the University at Buffalo.

Rich Products Corp. named Kevin Aman director of communications. Aman was director of communications for Harris Corp. in Rochester. He graduated from Fordham University.

Phillips Lytle elected attorney Sean C. McPhee a partner. McPhee received his J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law, an MBA from UB’s School of Management, as well as a bachelor’s degree from UB.

The Buffalo Niagara Sales and Marketing Executives will recognize Althea E. Luehrsen, executive director of Leadership Buffalo, with the 2013 Executive of the Year Award on Mondayat its gala at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo. Luehrsen was named executive director of Leadership Buffalo on Jan. 2012. She held positions at the University at Buffalo, including executive director of the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and assistant vice president for corporate and foundation relations. A past owner of several local business, she currently is president/owner of Strategic Solutions Group. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree from SUNY Empire State.

The board of directors of LeadingAge Western New York elected Isadore A. DeMarco president for the 2014-15 term. DeMarco is administrator of Canterbury Woods in Williamsville. Other officers: President-elect and treasurer, Karen Zmich of United Church Manor, West Seneca; secretary, Patricia Weeks O’Connor of Mercy Skilled Nursing Facility at OLV, Lackawanna and immediate past president, Tammy Schmidt of The Pines Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Machias. LeadingAge WNY represents more than 50 not-for-profit providers of healthcare and residential services for seniors and adults throughout Western New York.

Reliant Medical Equipment and Supply, a division of The McGuire Group Pharmacy, appointed Meghan Schobert vice president. Schobert, director of business development for the past five years, holds a bachelor’s degree from Carthage College in Wisconsin.

GP Strategies named Bill Green vice president of energy services, workforce development, and Barton Hoffman to vice president of energy services, performance management. Green, who holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, has been with the company for six years. Hoffman, a University of Maryland graduate, has been with the company since 1987.

SKM Group appointed Lindsay Adornetto a media buyer. Adornetto is a graduate of Canisius College. She was previously in marketing with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. Also, the agency promoted Erin Doherty to senior interactive project manager. Doherty joined agency in 2010 and holds a bachelor’s degree from Duquesne University.

Hiscock & Barclay named Eric T. Glynn and Tyson R. Prince associates in its Buffalo office. Glynn, a graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Law, is a graduate of Excelsior College and the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center. Prince, also a graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Law, is a graduate of Oswego State.

Chelus, Herdzik, Speyer & Monte named Christopher Safulko an associate attorney. Safulko received his J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree from Canisius College.

Keenan Communications Group named Allie Martucci an associate. Martucci graduated from Niagara University.

Young + Wright Architectural named Patrick Hinchy a project manager. Hinchy, a registered architect in New York, graduated from Alfred State College. Also, the firm named James Hickey a project manager. Hickey, who has a professional license in architecture, has worked at the firm since 2010.

The Health Foundation for Western and Central New York promoted Carol Quarantillo to director of finance and administration. Quarantillo has an MBA from Medaille College and a bachelor’s degree from D’Youville College. The foundation also named Coralie Brown office manager and Meredith Carswell-Sheline communications assistant. Brown, who worked in project management for New Era Cap Co., is a SUNY Buffalo State graduate. Carswell-Sheline is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
