Timothy P. German, Daemen security supervisor

June 3, 1969 – Feb. 11, 2014

Timothy Patrick German of Williamsville, security supervisor at Daemen College, died Tuesday after a short illness. He was 44.

Mr. German was born in St. Catharines, Ont., and had lived in the Buffalo area since 1997. He earned his associate degree in law and security at Mohawk College, a bachelor’s degree in sociology at Lakehead University and his master’s in education from Canisius College. He was employed by U.S. Security Associates at Daemen College since 2004.

Mr. German was past master of Tyrian Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons, and a member of St. Joseph University Parish. He enjoyed camping and hunting, and played the bagpipes.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly; two sons, Connor and Ryan; his father, Thomas M. Whitney; and a brother, Adam.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph’s University Parish, 3269 Main St.
