PASTA TIME – The Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus of the Buffalo Assembly will hold its second annual all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner and theme tray auction from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Kenmore Council, Knights of Columbus, 1530 Kenmore Ave. Dinner tickets are $8. SIGN HERE – A host of baseball and football greats will be exercising their autograph pens at the Sports Card Expo from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday in the Clarion Hotel, 8250 Park Road, Batavia.

Included in the lineup will be former Buffalo Bills Don Beebe, Scott Norwood and Lou Piccone; former Dallas Cowboys Danny White and Bill Bates; former New York Mets and Yankees stars Dwight Gooden and Darryl Strawberry; and former Baltimore Orioles manager Joe Altobelli.

LONG LOST – It took 50 years for Dianne Sanders Riordan to reunite with her mother, Betsy, after she was given up for adoption right after she was born in Our Lady of Victory’s Infant Home, Lackawanna, in the 1940s.

A graduate of Mount St. Mary Academy and Rosary Hill College (now Daemen College), and the mother of 11 children, she recounts how she reconnected with Betsy in a new book, “The Names of My Mothers.”

She will visit Dog Ears Bookstore and Café, 688 Abbott Road, for a book-signing at noon Sunday.

TELETHON WARMUP – Seven bands and six deejays will provide wall-to-wall music for Marcy’s 21st annual Variety Kids Telethon Jamboree from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Cove, 4701 Transit Road, Depew.

Host band Blood Money will welcome West of the Mark, the J.C. Thompson Band, Everett Lee & Underground Stampede, the Heritage, Ashton Hollow and Amanda Nagurney with East Coast Haven.

Spinning discs will be deejays Tim Mott, C.J. Matt, DJ Ice, DJ Frost and DJ Justin.

Tickets are $12 advance, $15 at the door. Kids under 12 get in free. Tickets are available by calling the Variety Kids Telethon office at 854-7577 or the Cove at 656-7946. The annual telethon on WKBW-TV, Channel 7, will take place March 30.


OLD COUNTRY DELIGHTS – Golabki, Polish sausage, pierogi, sweet and sour cabbage, potatoes, rye bread, coffee and dessert are on the menu for a Polish dinner beginning at noon Sunday in Polish Falcons Hall, 445 Columbia Ave., Depew. Dinners are $10. Takeout is available.
