Penn State student arrested for drugs and speeding

LITTLE VALLEY – A 19-year-old Penn State at Behrend student who is from Rockville, Md., was remanded to the county jail here after his arrest for speeding and drugs by state troopers on the Southern Tier Expressway in the Town of Randolph on Saturday.

Jia H. You was found to have concentrated hashish, marijuana, and smoking devices containing marijuana residue in his vehicle. He was remanded after arraignment in Cold Spring Town Court on charges of felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and speeding. He faces proceedings in Randolph Town Court in several weeks. He was jailed in lieu of $2,000 bail.
