Man pleads guilty to molesting two girls in Lockport

LOCKPORT – A City of Lockport man pleaded guilty in Niagara County Court Friday to molesting two girls.

Jeffrey M. Massaro, 34, who said he is moving this weekend from Eisenhower Drive in Lockport to Ridgedale Circle in the Town of Tonawanda, admitted to reduced charges of attempted second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child and endangering the welfare of a child.

The first victim was a girl who was under 11 between April 2009 and August 2013, when Massaro fondled her genital area on more than one occasion. The second victim, a 10-year-old girl, was made to fondle Massaro Sept. 2.

Massaro, who will have to register as a sex offender, remains free on $1,500 bail, on condition that he must continue the sex offender treatment sessions he has already begun. He could be sent to prison for as long as four years when County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas sentences him June 19.
