BPO pops lineup for 2014-15

• 8 p.m. Sept. 27: Matthew Morrison makes his BPO debut.

• 10:30 a.m. Oct. 24; 8 p.m. Oct. 25: The Hit Men, featuring former stars of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, relive the days of Carly Simon, Cat Stevens, Elton John, Tommy James and the Shondells and, of course, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

• 8 p.m. Nov. 8: Kevin Cole and conductor Matt Catingub appear in “Rhapsody in Blue.”

• 8 p.m. Nov. 22: A tribute to tireless hitmaker Neil Diamond features Las Vegas performer Jay White.

• 10:30 a.m. Dec. 19; 8 p.m. Dec. 20; 2:30 p.m. Dec. 21: The BPO presents its annual Holiday Pops.

• 8 p.m. Jan. 31, 2015: Ben Vereen, star of the original Broadway productions of “Pippin” and “Jesus Christ Superstar” as well as “All That Jazz,” “Sweet Charity,” “Chicago” and other song and dance extravaganzas, joins the BPO in a one-night-only event.

• 10:30 a.m. Feb. 13, 2015; 8 p.m. Feb. 14, 2015: Steve Lippia, a proven draw on previous pops seasons, returns for a romantic Valentine’s Day concert of the songs Sinatra sang.

• 8 p.m. March 14, 2015: Megan Hilty returns to her Broadway roots in her BPO debut.

• 8 p.m. April 18, 2015: The Glenn Miller Orchestra, formed in 1965 to carry on the legacy of the late legendary bandleader, plays the music of the swing era.

• 8 p.m. May 2, 2015: Singer Debbie Gravitte and conductor Michael Krajewski join the BPO for “Bond and Beyond,” an evening of music featured in 50 years of James Bond movies.

• 10:30 a.m. May 22, 2015; 8 p.m. May 23, 2015: The BPO presents “Patriotic Pops,” its annual Memorial Day concert.

• 8 p.m. June 6, 2015: Marva Hicks and conductor Byron Stripling team up with the BPO for “Ella, Louis and All That Jazz.”
