LOCKPORT – Jill Bunk, who has been working for the past year as bookkeeper for the City of Lockport’s developer agency, will add the job of city grants administrator to her portfolio this week.

R. Charles Bell, planning and development director, said Monday that Bunk, who has been working 12 hours per month on the books for the Greater Lockport Development Corp., will add 15 hours a week on grants work at the same contractual rate of $25 an hour.

“The intent is that it will pay for itself several times over,” Bell said. “More efficiency will endear us to our funding sources.”

Bunk, a Southtowns resident, will fill out all reports on use of funds demanded by grantors, as well as filling out applications for new grants. The money for the post was included in the 2014 city budget, Bell said.
