The Buffalo History Museum will hold Giants of Buffalo, featuring informal talks with individuals who have made contributions in the fields of journalism and television.

The former WKBW Channel 7 TV news team of Irv Weinstein, Rick Azar and Tom Jolls will be on hand March 21. On April 18, it will be Buffalo News reporters Dan Herbeck and Lou Michel, co-authors of “American Terrorist,” about Timothy McVeigh, the Oklahoma City bomber.

Both events will be during M&T Third Fridays, when general admission tickets for the museum are free. Cost to attend the “Giants of Buffalo” talks is $20, with $10 for members and $35 for VIP tickets. Each will begin at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception, followed by seating at 7.

The museum also will celebrate Abraham Lincoln’s upcoming birthday at noon Feb. 15 in collaboration with the Buffalo Civil War Roundtable and the Echoes Through Time Learning Center.
