A 38-year-old Buffalo man suffered a punctured lung during an apparent domestic dispute in South Buffalo that led to an arrest late Friday night, Buffalo police reported.

Douglas Malkiewicz was taken to Erie County Medical Center after being stabbed at about 10 p.m. inside the woman’s apartment in the 500 block of South Park Avenue. Police reported that he was kicked, punched and stabbed with a paring knife. His injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, police said.

Officers charged 25-year-old Sherri Halftown with first- and third-degree assault and weapon possession, according to police reports.
