NIAGARA FALLS – ReNu Niagara, a community outreach arm of Niagara University, will hold a series of town hall-type meetings to help identify priorities for the city. The meetings will be geared toward receiving suggestions from stakeholders in the community and residents.

Meetings will begin at 6 each evening and will be held Wednesday in the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center, 1201 Pine Ave.; Jan. 30 in Beloved Administration Building, 1710 Calumet Ave.; Feb. 5 in Niagara Falls Public Library, 1425 Main St.; and Feb. 12 in Lewiston on the Niagara University campus in Room 127 of Dunleavy Hall. The series will conclude with a community town hall meeting Feb. 13 with Niagara University President James J. Maher at a time and location to be announced.

ReNu Niagara is nearing the conclusion of a pair of grant-funded projects, “Creating a Healthier Niagara Falls,” funded by the John R. Oishei Foundation, and the “Vacant Lot Initiative,” funded by a City of Niagara Falls’ Community Development Block Grant.
