IDA postpones meeting until next Wednesday

WHEATFIELD – The Niagara County Industrial Development Agency has postponed today’s meeting for a week because of weather concerns, the agency announced Tuesday afternoon.

The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. next Wednesday in the IDA offices, 6311 Inducon Corporate Drive.

The board is expected to vote on a 15-year property and sales tax abatement for a $3.4 million, 30-unit apartment complex proposed for the Youngstown Cold Storage site, 710 Nancy Price Blvd., Youngstown.

The former fruit warehouse is to be demolished and replaced with the housing planned by David Pawlik of Creative Site Structures, Buffalo, and David Burke of Burke Homes, Hamburg.
