Erie County and Town of Clarence officials will hold a public forum Thursday to discuss plans to address the flooding that has plagued residences in the Goodrich Road area for decades. The meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. in Clarence Town Hall, off Goodrich Road near Roll Road.

“Residents are encouraged to attend the forum to hear an update on reconstruction and flood-mitigation plans,” said County Legislator Edward A. Rath III, R-Amherst.

Much of the northern section of Clarence was inundated with flooding from Tonawanda Creek last month.

Plans are being made to address the flooding situation, according to Rath and Clarence Town Supervisor David C. Hartzell Jr.
