New York Giants defensive coordinator Perry Fewell will interview for the Washington Redskins’ head-coaching job Monday, according to Newsday.

Fewell, 51 and coming off a season in which the Giants defense was ranked eighth in the NFL, has not interviewed for a head-coaching job since 2011. There at least four other reported candidates for the Redskins, including Ravens offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell and Panthers defensive coordinator Sean McDermott.

Fewell was interim coach of the Buffalo Bills in 2009, going 3-4 after the midseason firing of Dick Jauron. Fewell also spent three seasons as the Bills’ defensive coordinator.
