The Citizens Bank Foundation has donated a total of $45,000 to three organizations to provide job training in affordable green housing, neighborhood building and access to health food in low-income neighborhoods on Buffalo’s West Side.

The grants, provided by the foundation’s Citizens Helping Citizens Strengthen Communities program, include $25,000 to the Local Initiatives Support Corp. for its Building Sustainable Communities Initiative, $25,000 to PUSH (People United for Sustainable Housing) for its Green Jobs Training program and $5,000 to the Massachusetts Avenue Project Inc. for its Growing Green urban farming project.
