NIAGARA FALLS – A Pierce Avenue woman was a block from home Saturday afternoon when she was assaulted by four teens in what police said was an unprovoked attack.
The four attackers fled from the scene, laughing, after the attack at 1 p.m., police said.
The 21-year-old victim told police she was walking near 18th Street and Pierce when the four ”came out of nowhere” and punched her in the face until she fell to the ground, then was kicked and punched repeatedly.
The victim told police she did not recognize any of the muggers, who were “in their late teens,” and who said nothing during the attack. She suffered injuries to her face, head and arm and sought hospital treatment, police added.
