The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority and the union representing transportation supervisors have reached agreement on a new five-year labor contract that runs from April 2012 through March 2017.

A spokesman for Teamsters Local 264 said the agreement has been ratified by the local’s members. The local represents transportation supervisors who are responsible for the frontline supervision of all Metro bus and rail operations. Under the agreement, members will receive an equity adjustment beginning Jan. 1 and a 2 percent salary increase for each of the next three years starting April 1.
