Hatred is hurting this great nation
To the person who wrote “Hatred of Obama is richly deserved” in Everybody’s Column on Dec. 15: Hate is a strong word. It’s also a terrible word. There is enough of it in the world without Americans hating each other.
Democrats hated President George W. Bush; Republicans hate President Obama. Where does it stop? What good comes of hate except to make each one of us more callous and uncaring for one another? There are better ways to come to terms with our differences than hate.
