LOCKPORT – A Maplewood Drive woman pleaded guilty Monday to selling the painkiller oxymorphone in the Town of Lockport April 23.

Karen A. Fritton, 55, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and was scheduled for sentencing Feb. 26 by Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas, who said the longest sentence she will impose is 18 months in state prison.

It was one of two pill deals for which Fritton had been indicted; the other allegedly occurred May 13.
