Ransomville woman charged with aggravated DWI in traffic stop

TOWN OF PORTER – A Ransomville woman with aggravated driving while intoxicated after she was stopped in the 2500 block of Youngstown-Lockport Road just after 10 a.m. Friday, Niagara County sheriff’s deputies announced.

Kathleen E. Champion, 52, of Dickersonville Road, also was charged with driving while under the combined influence of drugs or alcohol and drugs, according to the report released Monday. Champion posted a blood-alcohol level of .29 percent, more than 3½ times the legal limit for intoxication.
