LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls heroin dealer who washed out of a court-supervised drug treatment program was sentenced Friday to 18 months in prison and two years of post-release supervision.

Juan J. Martinez, 36, of Cleveland Avenue, was sentenced by Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas on his original plea to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Martinez entered the treatment program in May 2012, a year after his arrest for selling heroin to a Falls police informant.
