Dogs left outdoors during deep freeze seized from Falls home

WHEATFIELD – SPCA officials seized three dogs from a Jennifer Court residence early Saturday after neighbors alerted authorities they had been left outside for hours in 14-degree temperatures.

Niagara County sheriff’s deputies said they went to the home about 1 a.m. Saturday and found the three animals on a porch that was covered in dog feces. Repeated attempts to contact anyone in the home or tvt telephone were unsuccessful, deputies said.

The shivering dogs were rescued about 2 a.m., after being outside for almost three hours, deputies said. An investigation is underway.
