Man arrested in Cattaraugus County stabbing case

A 31-year-old man was arrested Friday and charged with first-degree assault after Cattaraugus Sheriff’s deputies said he stabbed a man several times with a knife during an altercation in Carrollton.

Justin Robert Kramer was arraigned at Carrollton Town Court and sent to Cattaraugus County Jail on $200,000 bail.

The stabbing occurred at the home of Carey D. Mills. Jr. on Limestone Run Road, deputies reported. Mills, who suffered multiple stab wounds, was taken to Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa., where he remained in stable condition.
