Felony mischief charge lodged against Riverside man

A man was arrested on a felony criminal mischief charge Saturday after he allegedly threw a metal bat after a confrontation with a woman and damaged a neighbor’s car.

Stephen Reinhardt, 36, of Fuller Street, threatened to kill the woman and, after leaving her Fuller Street apartment, returned with the bat and threatened her with it, police said.

When Northwest District officers arrived on the scene, Reinhardt threw the bat and it struck a neighbor’s auto, doing more than $250 in estimated damage, police said. Reinhardt was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree menacing, second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct.
