LOCKPORT – The Niagara County Board of Health on Thursday unanimously elected Dr. Robert M. Bauer, an orthopedic surgeon from Lockport, as president of the board for 2014.

Bauer, who had been vice president this year, succeeds Dr. Jerome Ulatowski II, a Lewiston pediatrician, in the president’s role.

The board chose Susan A. DeLong, a nurse practitioner from Niagara Falls, to serve as vice president in 2014.
