A West Side man was arrested following a domestic dispute Sunday morning after police say he threw a Christmas tree out of his house, flipped a large-screen TV off its stand and injured the woman with whom he lives.

Orlando Oquendo-Torres, of Lafayette Avenue, whose age was not given, was charged with criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child following the incident, which was reported at 11:24 a.m. Sunday and witnessed by three children in the home.

A summary of the Buffalo Police arrest report did not indicate the relationship between Oquendo-Torres and the woman who reported the incident, nor did it reveal what sparked the domestic dispute.

The victim reported that Oquendo-Torres struck her during their argument, causing bruising and swelling.
