LOCKPORT – A North Tonawanda drug dealer and a Newfane drunken driver pleaded guilty Friday in Niagara County Court, and both were assigned to treatment programs by County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas.

Patrick E. Powell, 32, of Mead Street, North Tonawanda, admitted to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was indicted on three alleged cocaine sales in April and May 2012 in North Tonawanda. He faces up to nine years in prison if he washes out of div.

Eric K. Koch, 49, of Bayview Station, Newfane, pleaded guilty to felony driving while intoxicated for an April 4 arrest in the Town of Lockport, where police measured his blood alcohol content at 0.27 percent. Farkas said Koch is already in rehab and assigned him to drug court pending final sentencing Feb. 6.
