A 55-year-old East Utica Street woman in custody in the basement police cell block at the Buffalo City Court Building at 50 Delaware Avenue was charged with two felonies and two misdemeanor counts for fire alarm incidents.

Diane B. Jones, who was in the cellblock for allegedly pulling a false fire alarm at 7:57 a.m. at Main and North streets, allegedly pulled another fire alarm in the cell block that forced the emergency evacuation of the court building about 9:20 a.m.

Jones was charged with two felony counts of falsely reporting an incident and two counts of misdemeanor reckless endangerment for the two incidents. Police said she endangered the safety of firefighters responding to the first alarm and in the court building case endangered employees, citizens attending court who fled the building and other firefighters who rushed to that scene.
