A Clarence man was arrested Monday for felony driving while intoxicated after State Police at Clarence stopped his vehicle for driving down the middle of Transit Road in Clarence.

The driver, James A. Smith, 31, submitted to a breath test that revealed a blood-alcohol level of 0.13 percent, troopers said. He was charged with felony DWI because of a prior drunken-driving conviction in 2007, according to police reports.

Smith also was ticketed for moving unsafely from a lane and not wearing a seat belt.
