Phillips Lytle delays move to new building

Law firm Phillips Lytle LLP has delayed its move to the new One Canalside building by a week to ensure the facility is ready.

Over 110 attorneys and 200 other staff will start packing up their offices in One Seneca Tower at about 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21. During the next three days, the entire firm will move to the top four floors of the former Donovan State Office Building, a block away, to be ready to restart business on Nov. 25.

Besides the law firm, Benderson Development Co.’s One Canalside conversion will also include a Courtyard by Marriott hotel in the lower floors. That’s expected to open next year.
