A two-alarm fire Thursday evening on Inwood Place between Delaware Avenue and Windsor Avenue caused more than $200,000 in damages to three homes and sent two firefighters to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, Buffalo fire officials reported.

The blaze started at about 8:45 p.m. at 81 Inwood, a large two-and-a half story, wood frame house and caused damages to two other homes at 85 and 70 Inwood.,

Damage was estimated at $180,000 to 81 Inwood, $20,000 at 85 Inwood, and $5,000 at 70 Inwood.

Two adults from 81 Inwood required temporary shelter from the Red Cross.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
