LOCKPORT – Johnny D. Marks, 31, of Kay Street, Buffalo, pleaded guilty Friday to a reduced charge in connection with a Dec. 29 store burglary in Niagara Falls.

Marks agreed to pay $4,200 in restitution in addition to facing up to four years of imprisonment for attempted third-degree burglary. Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas will sentence him Feb. 14.

Marks broke into the Ray Mart at 925 Pine Ave. Police were pointed in Marks’ direction by a witness after they found the store’s front door broken, two bags of merchandise on the floor near the door, and cigars scattered all over the sidewalk.
