Athena SWC, a subsidiary of the Bonadio Group, named Andrew Feldmann and Scott Holler marketing associates. Feldmann received a bachelor’s degree from the Fredonia State College. Holler is a University at Buffalo graduate.


Dr. Kathleen Casacci, a North Tonawanda dentist, was recognized as an associate fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry at its annual meeting in Phoenix. To quality for the associate fellowship, Casacci completed a minimum of 300 hours of post-doctoral instruction in implant dentistry, performed implant cases and passed the aAcademy’s associate fellow examination.


The National Federation of Paralegal Associations elected Beth Bialis vice president and director of profession development for the 2013-2015 term. Bialis has been a paralegal for more than 16 years. She works at Hodgson Russ in Buffalo and has been a member of the Western New York Paralegal Association since 1996.

A new $2 million expansion project at the Fairway Suites at the Peek’n Peak in Clymer is a privately owned joint venture between French Creek Properties and American Resort Management. The project consists of an addition to the existing hotel that will house a great room, a fitness center, outdoor infinity pool with water gardens and an outdoor hot tub. The County of Chautauqua Industrial Development Agency supported the project with incentives.


Wegmans Food Markets and Roswell Park Cancer Institute have partnered to offer the QuitClub, a stop-smoking program, to all Wegmans employees and eligible spouses. Participants in the QuitClub will have access to the specialized services of Roswell Park’s tobacco cessation program.


Trek Inc., a designer and manufacturer of high-voltage power amplifiers and high-performance electrostatic instruments, sensors and monitors, has moved its headquarters and production from Medina to a refurbished facility at 190 Walnut St. in Lockport, formerly used by Harrison Radiator. The move was supported and assisted by the City of Lockport, Niagara County and New York State.


Advanced Educational Products, AEP Books and Media, donated 5,800 books to Goodwill Industries of WNY that will be sold in Goodwill’s 11 area retail stores. The donations are valued at more than $55,000.
