A senior administrator is leaving the Cleveland Hill School District, as Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction Mary Pauly’s resignation was accepted Wednesday by the School Board.

Superintendent Jon MacSwan said the position will not be refilled, so the move allows the district to consolidate its administrative staff, saving the district about $10,000. Cleveland Hill began restructuring administrative staff earlier this year to help the district conform to the state’s new testing standards. Pauly’s responsibilities will be divided between David Evans, director of pupil personnel, and Daryl Janus, director of curriculum and assessment. Pauly is taking a job with another district, according to MacSwan.
