WARSAW – A 45-year-old Farmersville man was arrested Monday by State Police on charges of driving while impaired by drugs and possession of marijuana after he lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole on Bixby Hill Road in the Town of Arcade.

Christopher R. Steiner was taken to Chaffee Hospital for treatment of neck and head trauma and afterward was charged with driving under the influence of prescription drugs. He was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana for an amount found in his vehicle. He was released and ordered to go to Arcade Town Court in several weeks.
