Welding cable worth $2,800 stolen in Niagara Falls break-in

NIAGARA FALLS – Workers at Croisdale Fabrication on Seneca Avenue told police that someone forced their way through a front gate over the weekend and stole 800 feet of welding cable.

The gate, which had been locked Friday afternoon, was bent, creating a gap wide enough for someone to climb through, police said. Missing from the storage area was a 800 feet of welding cable, valued at $2,800, according to police. Damage to the gate was $300. Police said someone probably drove into the gate.
