LOCKPORT – A Hartland woman accepted a misdemeanor plea offer Monday in Niagara County Court for her role in a burglary last year at Becker Farms in Hartland.

Rebecca M. Schaner, 21, of Ridge Road, pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal trespass and is scheduled for sentencing Jan. 6. Schaner, who is free on a $5,000 bail bond, could be given up to a year in jail, although Deputy District Attorney Doreen M. Hoffmann told County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III that Schaner has been cooperative throughout the investigation.

Two co-defendants in the Sept. 3, 2012, break-in at the South Quaker Road business – both of them teenage boys eligible for youthful offender status – have pleaded guilty in Town Court, Hoffmann said.
