OLAF FUB SEZ: According to humorist and commentator Will Rogers, born on this date in 1879, “One of the evils of democracy is you have to put up with the man you elect whether you want him or not. That’s why we call it democracy.”

What If?

What if:

There were no alarm clocks

to start each day?

It would be possible to stay in bed

and dream the time away.

What if:

There was no demand

on where we had to be?

Think of all the places on earth

to go explore and see.

What if:

There was no need to earn money

because everything was free?

We could have whatever we want

and be who we’d like to be.

What if:

Sickness and death were gone

and everyone was well?

Imagine the amazing stories

all our relatives could tell.

What if:

Our world never had war

and the only thing we knew was peace?

Would things like hatred, jealousy and greed

finally come to an end and cease?

What if:

There is no way this can happen,

it’s all just a dream?

The true picture is reality,

life is not as bad as it seems.

– Nelson R. Locher
