LOCKPORT – Lavon D. Parks of Niagara Falls, who was already awaiting sentencing for violating probation on a drug felony, pleaded guilty to another Friday in Niagara County Court.
County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas set sentencing Jan. 10 for Parks, 23, of 18th Street, who admitted to fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He originally was charged with selling crack cocaine to an undercover police officer in the Falls on Feb. 21 and March 1.
Parks previously admitted violating the terms of his probation on a 2009 conviction for fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. His plea Friday included his agreement to forfeit $283 seized during his arrest on another drug charge, so far not the subject of an indictment.
