Three teens charged with Chautauqua County assault

MAYVILLE – A 19-year-old Ripley man and two younger men have been charged with third-degree assault for allegedly attacking a person in a Wisner Street home in the Town of Ripley about 6:30 p.m. Saturday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday.

Kyle M. Hannold, of West Main Street, a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy have been charged with injuring their alleged victim so badly that the victim was taken to Westfield Memorial Hospital for treatment. The sheriff’s office would not release the identify of the alleged assault victim. Hannold and his two alleged cohorts have been issued appearance tickets for Ripley Town Court proceedings in several weeks.
