A Buffalo man pleaded guilty Tuesday before U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara to production of counterfeit currency.

Assistant U.S. Attorney John E. Rogowski said Bishara Lott, 41, used a personal computer to print $5,090 in fake $20, $50, and $100 bills.

Rogowski said Lott was caught after trying to sell his counterfeit money to an undercover operative of the U.S. Secret Service in return for $500 in real currency.
