A man wearing dark clothing and a New York Yankees baseball cap robbed the Key Bank branch at 1930 Niagara Falls Blvd. in the Town of Tonwanda at about 1:25 p.m. Thursday.

Town of Tonawanda police, who released a surveillance photo of the robber, said the bandit handed a threatening note to a teller, then placed an undisclosed amount of cash into a black bag and fled on foot. The robber also was described as about 6-foot-1 and of medium build.
