Read to Succeed Buffalo promoted Julia Marie Rosic to literacy intervention specialist manager and Kimberly S. Schuler to literacy intervention specialist mentor. A former lead teacher for Head Start, Rosic holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Fredonia State College. Schuler has both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Buffalo State College.


Hunt Real Estate Corp. welcomed Adele Cloutier, a licensed real estate saleswoman, to its metropolitan branch. Cloutier has 30 years of sales and sales training experience.


Ivoclar Vivadent AG Chief Executive Officer Robert Ganley was honored at the American College of Prosthodontists’ 2013 Annual Session at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas recently. Ganley is responsible for the worldwide business of Ivoclar Vivadent and has been with the organization for more than 30 years. Ivoclar Vivadent is headquartered in Schaan, Liechtenstein, and its North American headquarters is in Amherst.

Galaxy Auto Place, a used-vehicle business owned by Rick and Dana Bress, has opened its new building on Union Road in West Seneca. The $500,000 project consists of 12 work stations for sales, service and administration in a new building.


The Buffalo Zoo will receive a $6,500 check from BNI Pinnacle at the group’s business meeting next Thursday at Transit Valley Country Club, Amherst. The funds were raised by the efforts of golfers and sponsors of the third annual BNI Golf Tournament, held in August.
