Collins’ shutdown vote proves he is unfit to govern

Rep. Chris Collins voted no to the deal to end the government shutdown and avert a federal default. Think about that: he voted to allow our government to default on its debt obligations. Regardless of what he says his rationale was for voting no to avert a default, he voted to cause potentially catastrophic harm to our economy. This amounts to nothing less than economic terrorism. Al-Qaida pursues its terrorist agenda by blowing up buildings. Rep. Collins and the rest of the radical right through its tactics threatened to blow up our economy. As the Buffalo News has previously noted, this man is unfit to govern.
