Candidate for Hamburg councilwoman

Lines on Ballot: Democrat, Working Families

Age: 54

Number of years living in town: 26

Top campaign platform agendas:

-Bring civility to the Town Board

-Assure all proper laws and procedures are followed (to eliminate wasted money spent on lawsuits)

-Reduce taxes in a significant way

-Stop trend of tax increases – Town received over 5 million dollars in 5 years from lottery funds – there was no tax break for us

-Give senior citizens not only what they need, but what they are entitled to and deserve

Biggest issues facing the town:

-Dysfunction at the Town Board: I will work toward resolving issues through effective and open communication. My 30 years of experience as a professional educator, have given me the people skills to return civility to the town board. I not only work with students on a daily basis, but with parents, colleagues, guidance workers, health care workers, administrators, secretaries, school board members, principals, police, fireman, veterans, and the superintendent along with the community. This vast experience has well prepared me for issues on varying levels with all groups of the community.

-Concern for senior citizens and all the privileges they deserve

-Appropriate funds for all recreation – youth as well as seniors
