Buffalo man arrested by state police is accused of child sex felonies

A former Buffalo church youth counselor was charged Tuesday with promoting child sex and collecting child pornography.

Christian P. Myers. 26, who was a youth counselor at Victory Assembly of God Church, is charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child less than 17 and possession of a sexual performance by a child.

State police said Myers had many photos and videos of children ages 7 to 13 engaged in sex acts, and also is accused of dfistributing child pornography. He is no longer affiliated with the church, police said.

After arraignment in Buffalo City Court, he was released pending further court proceedings. State police said anyone with information about Myers is asked to contact state police at Clarence at 759-6831.
