The West Side Rowing Club’s team of Ted and Matthew Marks finished fourth in the parent/child competition at the Head of the Charles Regatta, one of the top events in the sports of rowing.
WSRC’s team finished 32nd in the women’s alumnae eights. Several other local athletes will be competing today.
Meanwhile, Ktejil Borch of Norway won the men’s championship singles. Kathleen Bertko of the United States took the women’s championship singles at the regatta in which 20 course records were set.
The 49th annual event took place on a three-mile course in the Charles River between Cambridge and Boston.
