A West Seneca man was charged with drunken driving after a crash late Wednesday at Southwestern Boulevard and Michael Road.

At about 10:45 p.m. officers found a sport utility vehicle rolled over after a collision with a car driven by William Sulkowski, 19, of West Seneca.

Sulkowski was traveling at a high rate of speed when he hit the SUV and flipped it over, officer Robert Cirbus determined.

The SUV was driven by Jamie Wozniak, 31, of Orchard Park, who was treated for apparently minor injuries at the scene, police said.

Sulkowski, who failed field sobriety tests and refused a breath test, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, refusal of a roadside screener test, moving from lane unsafely and unreasonable speed, police said.

He was released on unspecified bail to a third party, pending an appearance in Town Court.
