LOCKPORT – Jonathan D. Bersani, 21, of Koons Avenue, Buffalo, was sentenced Friday by Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas to three years in state prison and two years of post-release supervision for a pair of cocaine felonies.

Bersani, a former Town of Niagara resident, had pleaded guilty to attempted third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

He had 0.127 ounces of crack cocaine April 15 when police said they saw him selling the drug at 10th Street and Niagara Avenue in Niagara Falls. Also, he sold cocaine to a police informant Nov. 15 in the Falls.
